The Ministry of Youth and Sports wishes to congratulate Gina Mariam Bass Bittaye on her remarkable performance at the African Senior Athletics Championship.
Our 200m team, including team captain Adama Jammeh, Sengan Jobe, Alieu Joof, Jalika Bajinka, and Nyimansata Jawneh, will compete in the heats scheduled for this afternoon, Tuesday, 25 June 2024.
Gina has already secured a gold medal in the women's 100m at this championship and will be competing in the Paris Olympics, continuing her quest for her first-ever Olympic medal. We are proud of her achievements and wish her and the team the best of luck in their upcoming events.
