As the National Youth Conference and Festival (NaYCONF) opens in Banjul on Friday, the President of The Republic of The Gambia, Mr. Adama Barrow, expressed his Government commitment to supporting the development and empowerment of young people in the Gambia.
He promised to work with partners and other stakeholders to create more job opportunities for young people.
Our Hon. Minister, Bakary Y. Badjie also stressed his ministry's readiness to address the challenges of young people in the country.
Minister Badjie, highlighted some of the work the ministry is doing through its satellite institutions in skills development, enterprise, and entrepreneurship development, and another initiative for the young people.
