The Ministry of Youth and Sports and its satellite institutions regret to announce the sudden death of Mr. Lamin S. Bojang former Sports Coordinator North Bank Region. The sad event took place this morning Thursday 25th of January 2024.
Until his demise, Mr. Bojang was our Regional Sports Coordinator posted in the North Bank Region.
The late Bojang hailed from Sukuta Sabiji in the West Coast Region.
Before his demise, Mr. Bojang worked in Banjul, West Coast, and Central River Regions respectively.
Bojang holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Information Technology.
Mr. Bojang demonstrated a high sense of discipline, determination, and commitment to service.
His efficiency and effectiveness could be traced by his willingness and ability to serve and obey the command in the execution of his duties and responsibilities made him an icon a force to reckon with.
He was a team worker and a unifier. It is regrettable at this point when the Ministry is in a transformative process to meeting and desired goals and objectives of the young people of dear country, The Gambia.
We cannot help but pray for Almighty Allah to forgive shortcomings and admit his gentle soul and all the departed to Janatul Firdaus.
We also joined the grief of the family to bear the fortitude of the loss of an irreparable soul.
