The Gambia vs. Congo: Gov't Approves D11M

The government of the Gambia through the Ministry of Youth and Sports has approved D11M for the country's last and final game against Congo.

This came following the submission of a budget by the Gambia Football Federation for the match in qualifiers for the AFCON 2024 to be played in Ivory Coast from 13th January to 11th February 2024.

Out of the said amount, 9.7M has already been paid to the GFF as advance payment, meant to facilitate the payment of flight tickets, hotel bills, and the team’s allowances.

The Gambia is in second position behind Mali and the Scorpions are confident of making it to the continent’s biggest football event for the second time.

The boys are determined to get the maximum points when they lock horns with the Red Devils of Congo.

The Scorpions, need only a point to qualify for the AFCON 2024.
