The Gambian delegation, headed by Hon. Minister Bakary Y. Badjie, made a distinguished entrance at the opening of the YouthConnekt Africa Summit 2024. This year’s theme, "Jobs for Youth through Innovative Skilling," was highlighted by the presence of key figures, including H.E. Paul Kagame, President of Rwanda; the Prime Minister of Lesotho; Ms. Ahunna Eziakonwa, Regional Director of the United Nations Development Programme; members of the African Union Commission; Ministers of Youth; development partners; and youth from across the continent.
