Ministry of Youth & Sports has approved One million, seven hundred and sixty one thousand dalasis for the participation of the male and female U21 beach volleyball teams in CAVB 2023 World Championship to be held in Thailand.
The two teams qualified to the world championships, following an extra ordinary performance in the recently concluded U21 continental championship, held in Egypt in which the male U21 team won gold medal while their female counterparts won bronze medal.
The funds will facilitate payments for hotels bills, flight tickets, allowances and other related costs for the teams during the championship in Thailand from the 6th to 12th November, 2023.
