In quest to support sports development, Ministry of Youth & Sports gave D2,360,00.00 to Gambia Volleyball Federation - GVBF to facilitate the country's participation in the World Beach Volleyball Championship in Shangluo, China.
This prestigious event, scheduled to take place from August 27th to September 3rd, marks a moment for The Gambia as our U19 ladles, Hoja Njie and Fatou Kinteh, are set to represent Africa at this global stage. Their participation will not only be their debut as athletes at this level but also the first for The Gambia.
