The Ministry of Youth & Sports Monday convened its 3rd Senior Management Team (SMT) meeting at the President’s International Award (PIA) Hall in Bakau, bringing together heads of departments and satellite institutions to review sector performance and chart the way forward.
In his opening remarks, the Honourable Minister Bakary Y. Badjie , commended the collective efforts of institutions while urging them to “redouble their commitment and work harder in delivering on the Ministry’s mandate to serve the young people of The Gambia.”
Minister Badjie emphasized that effective coordination and open communication across institutions remain vital for progress. “We must strengthen collaboration and ensure that we are all moving in the same direction. The challenges we face can only be overcome when we work together as one family with one vision,” he noted.
